Coal Creek Theater presents 'Close Ties'
Louisville Center for the Arts (Fri,Sat: 7:30 pm, Sun: 2 pm)
The Coal Creek Theater of Louisville presents 'Close Ties,'' a two act play by Elizabeth Diggs. Come marvel at Louisville's acting talent in this production directed by Lynn Fleming. Tickets are $17 for adults, $15 for students/seniors, and $10 for children under 12.

The Louisville Art Association will be hosting their monthly Dabbler Workshop. Suzannah Vandyke will be leading the workshop, which will emphasize the creative thought process while drawing & sketching people. The cost is $15 for LAA members and $25 for non-members.

This week's Pathways to Parenting Success will take a look at learning problems in children. Boulder Psychological Services will present techniques for identifying adolescent learning issues, along with best practices for ameliorating scholastic frustrations. This event is free to attend.

Join the Louisville Library and the Children's Program for African-American traditional folk stories. In celebration of Black History Month, Folktales will be read aloud and a code quilt will be made and hung up in the Children's area. Participants are encouraged to bring a favorite story or poem by an African-American author to share. For ages 8-12. No registration needed.

'Share the Love' Movie and Carnival Event

Monarch High School's DECA Club is partnering with Variety Colorado to host a family carnival and movie event! Come out for a fun-filled afternoon at Monarch - with screenings of "Despicable Me," carnival games, and prize drawings! 100% of proceeds will go to Variety of Colorado.
